49ers Charitable Giving Program

Overview:
The San Francisco 49ers Charitable Giving Committee is committed to supporting communities across the Bay Area and beyond through annual philanthropic efforts via charitable donations to qualified organizations.

Award Amount: Donations up to $50,000 (requests over $50,000 will not be considered)

Geographic Scope:

Prioritized for organizations located in and supporting Northern California and the San Francisco 49ers territories

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit

Must be incorporated in California

Must have tax-exempt status under federal law

Submission Requirements:

All requests must be submitted online at least 60 days prior to the event or procurement date

Organizations may submit one (1) donation request per 12-month period

Requests made via phone, email, fax, or mail will not be considered and will be redirected to the portal

What Is NOT Funded:

Political and religious affiliated organizations

Elementary and secondary schools cannot be funded directly (though programs administered within a school environment by a separate 501(c)(3) organization may be considered)

Capital expenditures (CAPX) requests

Multi-year commitments
