Mission: To inspire and engage communities to make an immediate impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. The foundation is committed to investing in services that untangle the maze of appointments, tests, and treatments after diagnosis, and funding programs to increase the quality of life for survivors decades into the future.

Geographic Scope

• Primary focus: Charlotte, NC metro area
• Organizations do not need to be headquartered in Charlotte but must serve members of the Charlotte community through their programs and services
• Only organizations serving the cancer community in the Charlotte, NC metro area are considered (unless invited to apply)

Areas of Support

• Cancer survivor support: Programs that support and optimize the health of cancer survivors and their families throughout survivorship (diagnosis, treatment, and recovery)
• Cancer navigation programs: Programs intended to help guide patients and their families through the complex systems of cancer care

Funding Requirements

• At least 75% of granted dollars must be allotted to programming
