The Hanger Foundation provides annual grant opportunities for nonprofit organizations in the United States. Since 2009, the Foundation has awarded over $5 million in grant funding to 214 nonprofit organizations sharing goals to empower people with physical challenges to live life as fully as possible. This grant specifically supports veterans.- United States only

The Hanger Foundation supports 501(c)(3) organizations focused on empowering veterans through:- Rehabilitation and support services for related illnesses or trauma, such as combat-related injuries
- Athletic programs, social activities, and events for veterans with physical challenges, with special emphasis on individuals with limb loss or limb difference
- Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Must serve veterans with physical challenges in the United States
- Must fit within the Foundation's focus areas
- Applicants must complete the Grant Application Process
- All grants are currently one-year grants only
Eligibility Requirements
- Operating expenses are only funded up to 15% of the total grant and only when connected with a funded project or program
