Overview

SCAN Health Plan's Community Giving Program offers grants of up to $15,000 to support established older adult nutrition programs providing congregate meals, home-delivered meals, food boxes, older adult food pantry services, Commodity Supplemental Food Programs, or senior produce distribution. Award notifications November 12, 2026; projects start December 1, 2026.

Community-serving nonprofits and government agencies providing nutrition services to adults ages 55 and older in one of these counties: CA – Alameda, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Placer, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, Stanislaus, Tulare, Ventura, Yolo; AZ – Maricopa, Pima, Pinal; NV – Clark, Nye; TX – Bexar, Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery; WA – Pierce, Spokane, Thurston. Applicants select one eligible county for the project.
