Application Process

1. Access the application through the SJICF website at sjicf.org
2. Complete the grant application form with required information about your organization and project
3. Submit the application by the deadline
4. SJICF reviews applications and evaluates them based on community impact and alignment with foundation priorities
5. Grant recipients are notified and receive funding
6. Post-grant reporting: Recipients must complete a Grant Evaluation & Status Report

Grant Evaluation & Status Report Requirements

All grant recipients must submit a comprehensive report including:

• Organization Information: Name, director/contact, phone, email, website, address
• Project Information: Project name, grant amount received, budget documentation
• Required Narrative Elements:
- Project objectives and whether they were achieved - Description of most important result - How the community was informed about the project - Impact on the organization - Measurable results and impacts (quantified and explained) - Ongoing funding plan (if applicable) - Unanticipated problems or benefits - What would be done differently - Suggestions for how SJICF could help in the future

• Required Attachments:
- Project budget (if changed from original) - Publicity materials and anecdotes about individual impact - Several photos (minimum 800px dimension) with photo permissions

• File Format: Documents accepted as doc, pdf; photos as jpg, png (max 512 MB file size)
