Application Process

4. SJICF reviews applications and evaluates them based on community impact and alignment with foundation priorities
5. Grant recipients are notified and receive funding
6. Post-grant reporting: Recipients must complete a Grant Evaluation & Status Report

Grant Evaluation & Status Report Requirements

All grant recipients must submit a comprehensive report including:

• Organization Information: Name, director/contact, phone, email, website, address
• Project Information: Project name, grant amount received, budget documentation
• Required Narrative Elements:
  • Project objectives and whether they were achieved
  • Description of most important result
  • How the community was informed about the project
  • Impact on the organization
  • Measurable results and impacts (quantified and explained)
  • Ongoing funding plan (if applicable)
  • Unanticipated problems or benefits
  • What would be done differently
  • Suggestions for how SJICF could help in the future
• Required Attachments:
  • Project budget (if changed from original)
  • Publicity materials and anecdotes about individual impact
  • Several photos (minimum 800px dimension) with photo permissions
• File Format: Documents accepted as doc, pdf; photos as jpg, png (max 512 MB file size)
