The Texas Education Agency (TEA), as the pass-through entity, is the grantee from the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and TEA awards subgrants to non-federal entities such as local educational agencies (LEAs), including school districts, charter schools, and education service centers, and to a lesser degree institutions of higher education (IHEs), and nonprofit organizations (NPOs) who are the agency’s subgrantees. 2025-2027 Educator Preparation Innovation and Improvement Center (EPIIC) Continuation The purpose of this project is to support educator preparation programs (EPP) and school systems across Texas in continuous improvement efforts in service of Texas teachers and students. This project will provide support to EPPs and Texas school systems by providing resources and tools to support educator preparation continuous improvement efforts.
