The UJA Federation of Greenwich is committed to the preservation, enrichment, and continuity of the Jewish people and to the enhancement of Jewish life in Greenwich, North America, Israel, and throughout the world. Central to the organization's mission is a community built on the Jewish ideal of tzedakah—charity, righteousness, and social justice.
The organization enriches, supports, and connects the Jewish community through:
- Cultural and Educational Programs: Hosting nationally acclaimed authors, speakers, and scholars; hosting an annual Davis Film Festival highlighting films on Jewish themes; and providing Jewish ideas and arts programming
- Advocacy: Advocating at the state level and hiring a regional security advisor in response to increased antisemitism to help strengthen Jewish agencies and institutions in Greenwich
- Jewish Philanthropy: Supporting local programs, agencies, and the humanitarian work of United Jewish Communities
- Community Building: Strengthening the local community (kehillah) by welcoming and connecting newcomers; providing PJ Library books and programming for families with young children
