Gerald B Shreiber - Founder and primary supporter of the foundation. Shreiber is the President and CEO of J&J Snack Foods Corp., which he founded in September 1971. He began his career as a machine shop trainee in 1960 and started his own business manufacturing specialty machine parts before selling it in 1970.
Shreiber has extensive involvement in philanthropic and community activities, including service on the boards of the Jewish Community Center of Atlantic County, the Federation of Jewish Charities, and the Pennsylvania SPCA (joined in 2017). He is also a founder of the American Associates of Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel and a member of the Dean's Council of the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
