The Disability Fund Inc, also known as the Disability Opportunity Fund (DOF), is a nationally certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and 501(c)(3) public charity based in Rockville Centre, New York. Founded in April 2007, the organization operates nationally to address the financial needs of people with disabilities and organizations serving this population. As the first and only CDFI in the United States focused specifically on providing access to financing for the development of affordable housing and related services for people with disabilities, DOF fills a critical gap in an underserved market.
