The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is a nonprofit organization designated as a 501(c)(6) business league, located in Washington, DC at 2215 Constitution Ave NW Suite 101. Founded in January 1995, PTCB is the nation's first and only nonprofit pharmacy credentialing organization in the United States. The organization develops, maintains, promotes, and administers a nationally recognized certification program that enables pharmacy technicians to work effectively with pharmacists to deliver safe and effective patient care.
