The CIC/UPS Scholarship Program is administered by the Alliance for students at member institutions. It prioritizes first-generation, low-income, students of color or minority students, and New American students. The program description says its scholarships cannot replace aid already committed to recipients. The Alliance also administers E3, which matches eligible students’ savings for tuition or approved educational expenses; these participant payments are not grants to outside applicants.
