The National Forest Foundation (NFF) is a 501(c)(3) public charity chartered by Congress in 1992 and established in 1993. Headquartered in Missoula, Montana, the organization serves as the official nonprofit partner of the United States Forest Service. The NFF works to conserve and enhance watersheds, wildlife habitat, and wild places across the 193-million-acre National Forest System by engaging Americans in community-based and national conservation programs.
