THE CITY DEVELOPED THE "DREAM NEIGHBORHOOD" CONCEPT TO ADDRESS REFUGEE HOUSING NEEDS BY ENCOURAGING RENOVATION OF THE OVER 150 DISTRESSED HOMES IN THE CLARK/FULTON AREA, AND THEREBY NURTURING VIBRANT, DIVERSE, AND ENGAGED COMMUNITIES. THE GEIS COMPANIES, CLEVELAND'S HOME-GROWN PREMIER DEVELOPER, WAS FOUNDED BY ERWIN & KATHERINE GEIS, IMMIGRANTS TO THE US.
