Primary Program Areas:
Head Start and Early Head Start: Comprehensive education, health, and nutrition services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pregnant women, and families. Serves 2,234 children across 12 counties in North and Central Florida (Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Dixie, Duval, Gilchrist, Lake, Levy, Marion, and Nassau counties).
Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK): Free 540-hour school year program or 300-hour summer program for all Florida 4-year-old children. Administered in Baker, Clay, Nassau, Bradford, Putnam, and St. Johns counties through contract with the Early Learning Coalition of North Florida.
School Readiness Program: Child care subsidy for qualifying families, developmental screenings, assessments, and technical assistance to child care providers. Serves approximately 3,504 children per month across 181 child care providers.
Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R): Community support services and referrals.
