BJC OPERATES 24 LICENSED HOSPITALS AND MULTIPLE COMMUNITY HEALTH LOCATIONS WHICH PROVIDE INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT CARE, REHABILITATION, PRIMARY CARE, HOME CARE, HOSPICE, LONG-TERM CARE, COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH, WORKPLACE HEALTH AND COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLNESS. BJC ALSO SUPPORTS THE TRAINING OF FUTURE HEALTH PROFESSIONALS; ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICAL RESEARCH; REGIONAL HEALTH SAFETY NET SERVICES AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS; COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND HEALTH LITERACY; AND REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
