Barnes-Jewish Hospital Community Support Grants

The Barnes-Jewish Hospital Community Support Grants program provides funding to not-for-profit organizations to enhance health care in the St. Louis area. Grants can support new projects or expand existing ones, focusing on reducing health disparities, fostering strong health networks, and promoting wellness. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly, with an average grant amount of $33,000. Note that certain requests, such as for ordinary operating expenses or capital projects, are not eligible.

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital is committed to supporting research and programs that advance patient care at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Siteman Cancer Center, Washington University School of Medicine, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College and community organizations in St. Louis.
The Foundation's Community Support Grants program seeks to provide the most impactful funding to not-for-profit organizations for new projects (seed funding) or to increase capacity in existing projects that will improve health care in the St Louis metropolitan area.
These small grants will have an effect on at least one of the following areas:

• Reducing health care disparitiesFostering strong community health care networksHealth wellness and preventionQuality health care education

Applications are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed on a quarterly basis. The average grant amount is $33,000.
