Ballot Access Mississippi
The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, civic or social welfare purposes (or any combination thereof) within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the internal revenue code of 1986 and the regulations promulgated thereunder (the "section 50l(c)(4) organizations" of the "code"), and to promote and advance such purposes by any activity in which a corporation organized under the nonprofit corporation law may engage. Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, the corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on by a corporation exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(4) of the code. Without limiting the foregoing statement of purposes, the purpose of the corporation is to promote the common good and general welfare of the state of Mississippi and all mississippians by educating and promoting mississippians' constitutional right to ballot initiatives and related principles.
