ABC invests in philanthropy and advocates for race equity to create healthier communities in Maryland for African Americans. The organization works to advance long-term solutions that create new opportunities for African Americans to thrive financially and build a stronger economy for all.

Primary Program Areas:

• Community Conversations: ABC's signature dialogue spaces where residents, advocates, and leaders come together to address issues shaping life in Baltimore. These conversations center lived experience on topics including housing insecurity, healthcare disparities, education, and economic opportunity, placing those most impacted at the heart of the dialogue.

• Racial Equity Training: Programming that provides tools, training, and thought leadership to dismantle systemic barriers and build pathways toward equity in workplaces, communities, and institutions. This includes the ABC Academy, equity at work webinars, and tailored racial equity training sessions designed to equip organizations, leaders, and individuals with knowledge and frameworks to understand inequities and implement systemic change.

• HIV/AIDS Emergency Relief: The organization provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS emergency relief through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, offering primary medical care and essential support services for individuals living with HIV who are uninsured or underinsured.
