The fall Park Ambassador Program will provide nine intensive workshops and experiential opportunities to youths ages 16-24 living in low-income areas of San Diego and conclude with a 26-week paid internship at one of the City's recreation facilities or another City department. After graduation from the program, SDPF will maintain an ongoing relationship to ensure longer term success. While the curriculum is primarily focused on internships and jobs as Recreation Aides and Recreation Leaders for the City, other City job opportunities are also presented.$10,000
