AT THE SAME TIME UCONN MPH STUDENTS WILL 1) CREATE AND PILOT A SMARTPHONE APP FOR HARTFORD AND AREA RESIDENTS TO USE TO CONNECT TO NATURE, AND 2) DEVELOP AND PILOT A LIST OF RESOURCES ABOUT AVAILABLE PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE NATURE WITHIN THE PARK. PARTNERSHIPS WITH UCONN AND DR. CORCORAN ARE ESTABLISHED. THE PROJECT WAS RECENTLY FEATURED IN THE HARTFORD COURANT. | $25,000 |
