EXCESS PRODUCE WILL BE SOLD AT A FARMSTAND OUTSIDE OUR BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION ON 6TH AVENUE AND POTENTIALLY AT A NEW FARMER'S MARKET OPENING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. OUR YOUTH PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN PRODUCE SALES, LEARNING VALUABLE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING SKILLS. THE LAND SITS 15 FT HIGHER THAN THE SIDEWALK UP A STEEP EMBANKMENT WITH NO STAIRS. THIS PROJECT WILL STABILIZE THE EMBANKMENT WITH A RETAINING WALL WITH INTEGRATED STAIRS. | $15,062 |
