Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award

Geographic Scope: Six-county greater Milwaukee metro area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, and Kenosha counties)

Target Population: Young women ages 16 to 19

Focus Areas:

  • Education, careers, or leadership positions in public policymaking, government, and volunteer organizations

  • Commitment to the volunteer sector

  • Volunteer leadership achievements

  • Dedication to building a better world for women and girls through service and advocacy

    • Award Structure:

  • Zonta Club of Milwaukee awards one $2,000 award

  • Winner's application forwarded to Zonta District 6

  • District 6 may submit one application for consideration of one of 37 Zonta International awards of $5,000 each

    • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ages 16-19

  • Living in or attending accredited schools in the six-county Milwaukee metro area

  • Show commitment to volunteer sector

  • Evidence of volunteer leadership achievements
