Youth Sports- Sunflower Softball Fund Grant

The Youth Sports- Sunflower Softball Fund, managed by the Greater Salina Community Foundation, aims to provide financial assistance to youth in Saline County, KS, who wish to participate in softball but face financial barriers. Grants are awarded to individual players or teams for expenses such as registration fees and uniforms. Priority is given to those demonstrating need, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to play and enjoy the sport.

Grants are awarded to individual players or teams who play in a local league in Saline County, KS or for a Saline County high school who might otherwise not be able to participate in softball due to limited financial resources.
Grants are distributed on a first come-first served basis.

Ineligibility

The following grant requests will NOT be considered:Incomplete, incorrect or late applications.Political projects of any kind.Organizations or projects that practice discrimination of any kind.Operating deficits or retirement of debt (if the project has already happened or been paid for, this is considered funding debt).
