MOPOP's Youth Advisory Board (YAB) gives teens a voice in programming at the museum and an opportunity to help Northwest arts and culture thrive. YAB members collaborate with artists, co-create museum projects, and shape the future of pop culture.

What YAB Does:

Collaborates with local musicians, artists, youth arts leaders, and community groups
Screens submissions and helps select artists for Sound Off! music showcase
Helps produce landmark annual events (Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival, Sound Off!, etc.)
Designs and contributes to unique projects (e.g., curating exhibition walls with commissioned youth artists)
Works with MOPOP's social media team to create content
Gets inside peeks at museum exhibitions and special events
