Overview: A global online competition inviting young people ages 13-24 to tackle innovation challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Geographic Scope: Global (63+ countries participated in 2020 cycle)

Focus Areas:

  • Innovation challenges aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals

  • Design thinking and ideation

  • Innovative products, services, or initiatives addressing global problems
  • Award Structure:

  • Winning team in each challenge category: $1,800

  • Two runners-up in each category: $300 each

  • Total distributed: $21,600 (9 challenge categories)
  • Eligibility:

  • Ages 13-24

  • Small teams or solo competitors
