Women's Community Foundation Grant

The Women's Community Foundation Grant, offered by the Central Kansas Community Foundation, invites 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Harvey County to apply for grants up to $3,000 for innovative community projects. This initiative aims to empower women in philanthropy and foster impactful giving through collective action. Organizations that have not previously received funding will be prioritized, and all applicants must submit a Grant Impact Report if they have been past grantees.

Central Kansas Community Foundation
Located in Newton, CKCF is a host foundation to 19 affiliates in the central Kansas region, supporting rural philanthropy.
The CKCF based in Newton, Kansas is thriving as a viable community foundation serving Newton while also being host to numerous affiliate community foundations throughout central Kansas. Following a stable history serving a tri-county area the foundation merged in 2009 with the well-established Greater Newton Community Foundation. Today, the CKCF continues to demonstrate a commitment to strengthening communities across the entire Central Kansas region.
The Women’s Community Foundation, an affiliate of Central Kansas Community Foundation, is now accepting applications for its 2025 grant cycle. This opportunity is open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Harvey County, Kansas. Grants of up to $3,000 will be awarded to projects that demonstrate urgency, innovation, or creativity in addressing community needs. WCF was founded to empower women in philanthropy and foster impactful giving through collective action.

Eligibility

Organizations must be a 501(c)(3) or a qualified exempt entity (e.g., school, church, municipality). Must serve or be affiliated with the Harvey County community. Only one application per organization.Past grantees must have submitted a Grant Impact Report to be eligible.
