Calhoun County Veteran Affairs Scholarship is a Fall Scholarship. Military and Veterans Affairs Serving those who have served The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs provides guidance and mentorship for veterans, those still serving and their family members. We offer assistance in academic and benefit support; we also bring answers to questions regarding WMU, the VA and southwest Michigan. Eligibility

Recipients shall be:Honorable and Under Honorable Conditions discharge from the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force or Honorable discharge from any previously mentioned Reserve or National Guard component following competition of initial obligationCurrent resident of Calhoun CountyCurrently enrolled at Western Michigan University either full or part-time in a degree or certificate-seeking programStudents who are not in their first semester must have a GPA of 2.5 or higherMust demonstrate financial need
