WMU Department of Chemistry: Dr. Hashem and SuzAnne Akhavan-Tafti Chemistry Scholarship Grant

The Dr. Hashem and SuzAnne Akhavan-Tafti Chemistry Scholarship at Western Michigan University supports chemistry majors pursuing careers in various fields such as industry, teaching, and research. Established in 2014, the scholarship aids students from historically underrepresented populations, enhancing their educational experience through financial assistance.

Scholarships
Scholarships and Endowments acknowledge outstanding Department of Chemistry students and provide financial assistance toward their studies. These scholarships augment awards made to students supported by Western Michigan University. Scholarships are open to declared chemistry majors and are awarded on the basis of criteria listed for each specific scholarship.
This scholarship was established in 2014 by Dr. Hashem and Mrs. SuzAnne Akhavan-Tafti.
