William Jessen Memorial Scholarship The William Jessen Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an individual whose abstract is approved for presentation at the upcoming NWRA Symposium. One or more scholarship(s) may be awarded to help defray the costs of attending the Symposium for a Symposium Speaker. This scholarship is given through NWRA by Elaine Friedman in memory of her brother, William Jessen, and in honor of all creatures that capture one's heart, expertise, and time, but never make it to release. Financial support is provided to NWRA symposium speakers who share their valuable information, skills, and expertise with many attendees. This multiplies the positive impact through enabling rehabilitators to help many more animals.Eligibility
