Overview

The National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (NWRA) is dedicated to improving and promoting the profession of wildlife rehabilitation and its contributions to preserving natural ecosystems. The National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association and wildlife rehabilitation as a profession are recognized and respected worldwide. The National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association is incorporated for the support of the science and profession of wildlife rehabilitation and its practitioners. Wildlife rehabilitation is the treatment and temporary care of injured, diseased and displaced indigenous wildlife and the subsequent return of healthy animals to appropriate habitats in the wild. Rachel Fischoff Educational Scholarship The Rachel Fischoff Educational Scholarship is a $650 credit certificate redeemable through NWRA to pay for any combination of NWRA educational publications, including shipping; NWRA symposium fees, including registration, field trips and/or workshops; and NWRA membership dues (for up to two years). This certificate is given through NWRA by Rachel Fischoff, a life member of NWRA. Certificate must be redeemed by December 15 of the year in which it is awarded. Any remaining unused value expires on the December 15 date.
