Wildhorse Foundation: Rapid Response Grant

The Wildhorse Foundation offers a Rapid Response Grant for urgent needs throughout the year, with no set application deadline. Typically, one grant of up to $1,500 is awarded annually, adhering to the same guidelines as full grants. Eligible recipients include the Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation and various non-profit organizations within the surrounding regions of Oregon and Washington. This grant is not intended for event sponsorship or operational budget supplements.

Background
A Rapid Response Grant is meant for small needs that surface throughout the year. There is no deadline to apply, however, only one Rapid Response grant is customarily awarded in a 12-month period. These grants of up to $1,500 are subject to the same standards and guidelines as the full grants.

Eligibility

The Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation are the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla. Each year the Wildhorse Foundation makes grants to eligible government, Tribal and non-profit organizations in that homeland area:Morrow, Umatilla, Union and Wallowa counties in OregonThe Tribes Ceded Territory in Washington which is most of Benton, Columbia and Walla Walla Counties. Ineligibility

The Rapid Response Grant is not meant to be an event sponsorship or a supplement to your operational budget. It cannot be used to supplement a project for which you have received a Wildhorse Foundation grant or to supplement a project for which you have a pending application with Wildhorse Foundation.
