Wildfire Disaster Relief

Funder: CAR Foundation in conjunction with the Colorado Association of REALTORS®

Background: The CAR Foundation was awarded a $100,000 grant by the National Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Relief Foundation to help individuals and families affected by wildfires. The CAR Foundation added an additional $10,000 in funds.

Eligibility:

Individuals and families affected by the East Troublesome, Calwood, or Cameron Peak Fires

Qualifying occurrence must have been declared an emergency by the Governor within the last 30 days (per National Association of REALTORS® criteria)

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 per applicant

Eligible Use of Funds:

Monthly mortgage expense on a primary residence

Rental housing cost due to displacement from a primary residence or rental relocation
