NOTE: Due to the high volume of donation requests that we receive, all requests must be received by the Whitecaps Community Foundation at least four weeks prior to the event. Who We Are The Whitecaps Community Foundation was founded in 2012 and now oversees all philanthropic activity for the West Michigan Whitecaps. With a growing number of exciting programs and an annual community impact of over 1.4 million dollars, the Whitecaps Community Foundation has become a vital piece of the West Michigan charitable community. With children and their families in the West Michigan area as our main focus, the Whitecaps Community Foundation is working to make sure that families have access to social, educational, and recreational programs. Our Mission The Whitecaps Community Foundation, the nonprofit extension of the West Michigan Whitecaps, is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth and their families by providing them with access to fun, baseball, team-dynamics, and other recreational opportunities. With the help and generosity of West Michigan residents and community partners, the Whitecaps Community Foundation continues to make the West Michigan area a better place for fun, community, and experiences.

Ineligibility

Employee picnics, incentive programs, recognition parties and church mission trips do not qualify for donations. These organizations may purchase merchandise from the Whitecaps Souvenir Shop and may be eligible for quantity discounts.Events that benefit a single individual or family will not be considered because of our desire to maximize our impact on the community.Recognition of the Whitecaps Community Foundation contribution at the event is appreciated whenever possible, but not necessary.
