Giving Back, Together With a goal of cultivating healthy, thriving communities, we support community organizations large and small, focusing our efforts on key areas where we can have the greatest impact: hunger relief, health, education and economic mobility, youth support, and community and collaboration. Health We are committed to improving the physical, emotional, and mental health of our communities by increasing access to wholesome food and resources for living a healthier, better life. Education & Economic Mobility We believe the best way to promote economic advancement is by helping people access quality education, stable housing, and comprehensive job and career training, all of which provide a foundation for long-term financial growth and opportunity. Youth Support We are focused on helping kids gain access to youth sports, after-school programs, and extracurricular activities that provide a safe and inclusive environment where they can develop essential skills, build confidence, and connect with positive role models. Community & Collaboration We partner with, sponsor, and donate to local nonprofit organizations to build better communities, with a focus on helping families and enriching neighborhoods.

Ineligibility

We wish we could lend our support to every request we receive, however, there are several types of requests that Wegmans is unable to accommodate.They include:Solicitation on our property. We do not permit leafleting, selling candy, cookies, flowers, etc. on our property by any organization for any purpose. We can, however, consider a donation in lieu of solicitation.Requests from individuals for support of personal endeavors(however, we give generously to agencies that help individuals).College scholarships. Our support of colleges and universities is done through our employee tuition assistance program ($146 million to more than 46,500 employees since 1984).Requests from faith-based agencies for religious purposes; however we can consider humanitarian aid, such as food for people in need.Professional development seminars and conferencesEmployee recognition eventsTravel expenses for educational or extracurricular activitiesPageantsCharitable fundraising efforts of other businessesDiscounted gift card programsPolitical contributions*We do not accept written, faxed or emailed requests.
