We Raise Foundation: Emerging Leader Grant

The We Raise Foundation's Emerging Leader Grant supports early-career leaders at Christian organizations developing innovative programs addressing poverty, violence, and inequality. With a total of $15,000 over two years, the grant allocates $10,000 for program support and $5,000 for leadership development, including coaching and conferences. This initiative aims to foster impactful leaders who inspire, communicate effectively, and engage deeply with their communities, ultimately creating lasting change.

Emerging Leader Grants are an investment in the development of early-career leaders at Christian organizations who are leading new programs at the intersection of poverty, violence and inequality in the United States.
Receive $15,000 over two years – $10,000 supports the new program and $5,000 supports leadership development. This leadership development includes:

• Attendance at a Leadership Fundamentals conference through The Center for Creative Leadership and associated travel and lodging expenses
• Attendance at the Global Leadership Summit through satellite locations
• Individualized Leadership Coaching
• Finding Our Leaders

We seek to identify leaders who possess these skills and characteristics:

• Inspires and influences others
• Clear communicator
• Visionary and strategic thinking
• Persistence and commitment
• Develops trust within their team
• Deep engagement in their community
• A calling to this work, rooted in faith in Christ

Eligibility

We Fund:
Programs at Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizationsOrganizations located within the United States and serving people in the United StatesOrganizations serving under-resourced communitiesPrograms that are newer or ones that have significantly expanded or entirely revisedPrograms that propose a new and innovative approachCapital expenses essential to new programming for our grantees
