Our Mission The Waukesha Education Foundation utilizes community resources to provide grants for the educational enrichment of the students in the Waukesha School District, fostering quality and innovative learning and ensuring a strong foundation for the future of our community. Our Focus is on Enrichment The Waukesha Education Foundation only supports projects and programs that are not typically funded by the School District's annual operating budget. Qualifying programs are proposed by teachers, administrators and staff in the district and are evaluated in a competitive review process. It is our intent to enhance the breadth, depth and quality of the educational experience for students in the Waukesha School District. Specific funding priorities for the Foundation include: Program Innovation – Creative educational opportunities for students and teachers Enrichment Programs – Activities that extend and enhance the core curriculum, benefiting students at all levels Recognition of Quality Work – Reward outstanding achievements by students, teachers and programs Waukesha Education Foundation Grants Each year in the early spring, the Waukesha Education Foundation solicits grant applications from teachers, administrators, and staff with proposals for programs for the following school year.

Ineligibility

Students, parents, parent groups, and district community partners are not eligible to apply for grants through the WEF. Given that we have limited resources, some requests will not receive funding from WEF.
