Washington Youth Development Nonprofit Relief Fund

Focus Areas:

  • Youth development programs

  • Organizations serving youth affected by COVID-19 pandemic

  • Programs providing emergency childcare, social-emotional supports, academic mentoring, virtual programming, and basic needs supports
  • Eligibility:

  • Youth development nonprofits and programs across Washington State

  • Organizations serving priority populations: BIPOC youth, LGBTQ youth, migrant/immigrant youth, youth experiencing homelessness, and youth in poverty

  • On average, 88% of youth served by awardees were in priority populations; 48% reported serving 100% of these youth
  • Purpose:
    Addresses financial and programmatic challenges from COVID-19, including lost revenue and increased expenses for safety measures. Provided critical funding to prevent organizations from closing programs or sites.
