Wallerstein Foundation Grant

The Wallerstein Foundation for Geriatric Life Improvement is dedicated to enhancing the lives of elderly individuals through targeted support for non-profit organizations. Grants focus on critical areas such as dementia care, wellness programs, and community engagement initiatives. The foundation prioritizes projects that meet the unique needs of seniors, promoting health and active lifestyles. By funding specific projects rather than general support, the foundation aims to make a meaningful impact on the quality of life for senior citizens.

The Wallerstein Foundation for Geriatric Life Improvement is a non-profit, charitable organization incorporated in the State of New Jersey. Towards this end, the Foundation will make grants that address the unique needs and social and physical challenges facing senior citizens. In some limited circumstances, the Foundation also will support research on geriatric life improvement.

Listed below are representative examples of the major categories of work for which the Wallerstein Foundation has provided philanthropic support in recent years. The categories are meant only to be illustrative and do not in any way rule out the possibility of making grants in other related areas.

Eligibility

The Wallerstein Foundation typically makes grants of one-year duration, though in very limited circumstances it may consider making a multi-year commitment.The Foundation can only accept grant requests from legally incorporated, 501(c)(3) organizations that have been certified by the Internal Revenue Service. The foundation focuses on funding specific projects, related program needs and requirements, and on some limited occasions supporting research on geriatric issues.

Ineligibility

Given its limited resources, the Wallerstein Foundation is unable to provide general budgetary or endowment support.
