Overview:
Grant to help build the capacity of home visiting programs that deliver virtual services to children and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Purpose

• Support home visiting professionals in maintaining meaningful connections with families during health crises
• Develop resources and capacity for telehealth methods in home visiting practice
• Provide critical parenting, child development, and family well-being support through virtual platforms

Use of Funds

The grant provides core support for the PAT-led Rapid Response Virtual Home Visiting Collaborative (RR-VHVC), which:
• Develops weekly webinars, resource materials, surveys, and courses
• Focuses on systems and model support for home visitors, supervisors, specialists, and support staff
• Coordinates weekly and monthly meetings on content development
• Integrates telehealth methods and processes into home visiting practice
• Develops guidance on virtual developmental screening, parent-child interaction on virtual platforms, and telephone-based services
