Overview

VibeWell Ventura County Arts & Wellness Grant Program This grant program opportunity, funded through Ventura County Behavioral Health's Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) funds under the Mental Health Services Act, supports nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in delivering and evaluating programs that increase awareness of mental health conditions and treatment resources through artistic, creative, and cultural engagement. This grant program focuses on general individual and community benefits and public education rather than clinical or therapeutic outcomes. Funded projects are not expected to provide therapy or treatment, but rather to use arts and cultural experiences to foster community conversations, reduce stigma, increase awareness, and promote overall wellbeing. This grant program, funded through Ventura County Behavioral Health's Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) funds under the Mental Health Services Act, is administered by the Ventura County Community Foundation in partnership with the County of Ventura (County). Successful projects will demonstrate a clear connection between proposed arts activities and the programs goals, a strong understanding of community needs, engage with youth and/or historically underserved communities, and a clearly described program evaluation process.
