VFW #StillServing Grant

Overview: Grant available to VFW Posts, Districts, and their Auxiliaries to offset expenses incurred during community service projects involving direct community engagement.

Eligibility:

VFW Posts

VFW Districts

VFW Auxiliaries (affiliated with Posts or Districts)

Must involve direct engagement by the applying organization's members with their community

Award Details:

Up to $1,500 per application

Both a VFW Post and its Auxiliary can receive funding (up to $1,500 each), and a District and its Auxiliary can receive funding (up to $1,500 each)

Each applicant organization must have its own unique project

Applicants are limited to receiving a total of $1,500 during the cycle

Geographic Scope: United States

Important Notes:

Reimbursement-based (applicants must complete projects and apply with proof of expenses)

Applicants are encouraged to contact the VFW Foundation before starting a project to ensure it qualifies

Grant eligibility is exclusive to VFW entities (Posts, Districts, Auxiliaries). Nonprofits outside of the VFW cannot apply.
