Project Description: Planning grant to fund creation of a statewide Physicians' Resource Center to help Vermont physicians overcome time and financial pressures that threaten to jeopardize care quality.

Background: VMSERF's 2011 Physicians Needs Assessment identified that Vermont doctors face increasing time and financial pressures. The Center was proposed to:

Build physicians' leadership skills

Assist with solving problems that interfere with everyday care processes

Create national model solutions for physicians facing similar issues across the country

Program Goals:

Arm physicians with resources needed to offer best care to patients

Allow physicians to build new knowledge about critical and emerging issues

Support active physician leader involvement at all levels of care
