Valley County Masonic Endowment Program Guidelines The Valley County Masonic Endowment at the Montana Community Foundation was established by the Nemont Manor Foundation, Inc. The Valley County Masonic Endowment Fund is funded through a $1.25 million gift from the Nemont Manor Foundation, Inc, from the sale of the Nemont Manor, an affordable housing facility in Glasgow, Grants from the fund will support charitable organizations making a positive impact in Valley County.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or government entity, such as a local government, tribal government, or school district.  Grants will be up to $5,000. While grants must be used for projects benefiting communities or residents in Valley County, the grantee organization does not need to be based in Valley County. Only one application is allowed per organization.Eligible projects must be within the following areas of interest: (1) arts and culture(2) basic human needs, (3) economic development (4) education,(5) natural resources and conservation.

Ineligibility

Individuals and for-profits are ineligible; however, individuals and for-profits may apply through a fiscal sponsor that is eligible. Ineligible projects include:annual or capital campaigns endowmentsdebt retirementsreligious, partisan, or sectarian activitiesone-time events, such as celebrations or social gatherings, that are not part of longer-term economic and community development goals
