Val and Bill Tillett Scholarship Grant

Funder: Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties

The Val and Bill Tillett Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties, supports students pursuing degrees in Horticulture Technology or Landscape Design at Northern Virginia Community College. Priority is given to Loudoun County residents with financial need, although applicants from surrounding counties are eligible as well. Both full-time and part-time students can apply, and recipients may reapply for a second year of funding if they maintain a 2.5 GPA.

The Val and Bill Tillett Scholarship provide scholarship support to students pursuing a degree in Horticulture Technology or Landscape Design at Northern Virginia Community College. Priority consideration is given to Loudoun County residents with demonstrated financial need, though applicants from Prince William, Fairfax, Alexandria, and Arlington are also eligible. Both full-time and part-time students may apply. Recipients may seek a second consecutive year of funding upon reapplication, provided they maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (C+ or higher).
