USF: Community Impact Grant

The USF Community Impact Grant, established by USA Swimming and the USA Swimming Foundation, aims to enhance competitive opportunities in swimming clubs. Grants of up to $5,000 are available for registered USA Swimming clubs committed to fostering community engagement and collaboration. Eligible clubs can renew their grant for up to three years, promoting diverse access to swimming programs. This initiative particularly supports clubs that partner with educational or public entities and those led by women or minorities.

NOTE:
Pre-Proposal - This deadline represents the last day when Clubs must be submit an application to become registered members. Swim teams who would like to become a USA Swimming Club member can start the process of becoming a club member here.Full Proposal - This is when the application is due.
In 2020, USA Swimming and the USA Swimming Foundation introduced the Community Impact grant program to increase competitive opportunities within USA Swimming clubs. Through these grants, USA Swimming and the USA Swimming Foundation aspire to grow the pipeline of champion athletes and create more opportunities to broaden community access to USA Swimming within diverse communities.
USA Swimming member clubs are eligible for the Community Impact Grant. Clubs are encouraged to apply if they are committed to connecting, collaborating, and impacting their local communities through competitive swimming.
Funding
Award recipients are eligible for a maximum grant award of $5,000. Community Impact Grant recipients have the opportunity to renew (pending submission of annual reports and documented need) for up to three (3) consecutive years, inclusive of the initial grant award.

Eligibility

Only USA Swimming clubs are eligible to receive the community impact grant. If your team is not a currently registered USA Swimming club member, you must register and be approved as a USA Swimming club prior to applying. Grant dollars must be utilized directly towards the swimmers or costs towards competitive swimming.
