Community Foundation of North Central Washington The Community Foundation of NCW is a tax-exempt philanthropic organization that helps individuals, families, businesses, and agencies support charitable causes throughout Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Community Grants Supporting Charitable Causes in NCW Several funding opportunities are available to support nonprofit charitable organizations and public agencies in Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties. Grants are made possible through established unrestricted funds and gifts from donors. The competitive grant review process identifies projects, programs, or general operations that benefit the region through areas such as arts and culture, education and youth programs, environment and animal protection, health and human services, and public/social benefit.
