UOAA Chapter and Group Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000 - $3,000 (awarded for one year only)

Geographic Scope: Various chapters including Desert Ducks (Arizona), Chicago Ducks, Denver Ducks, Hawai'i Ducks, Lane County Ducks, Bay Area Ducks, Orange County Ducks, Portland Ducks, Seattle Ducks, San Diego Ducks, and LA Ducks

Eligibility:

Incoming and returning undergraduate students

Students who have received a UO Alumni Association scholarship in the past are eligible to receive one again with no limit to the number of years they may receive the scholarship

Selection Criteria:

Academic performance through review of transcripts from past institutions

UO academic records (if applicable)

SAT/ACT scores (for incoming freshmen)

Extracurricular involvement

Faculty reference (if applicable)

Writing ability

Administration: Administered through the General University Scholarship program by the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships

For Incoming Freshmen:

Automatically considered for General University Scholarships by completing the undergraduate admission application

No separate General University Scholarship application required

For Incoming Transfer Students:

Apply for admission

Submit the General University Scholarship Application and any supplemental materials by deadlines set by OSFAS

For Current UO Undergraduate Students:

Submit the General University Scholarship Application and any supplemental materials by the deadline set by OSFAS

Preference given to students who have previously received a UO Alumni Association scholarship
