United Way of Forsyth County Grants - Tier 1: Community Impact Grants

The United Way of Forsyth County provides Tier 1 Community Impact Grants of up to $10,000 to 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving Forsyth and Dawson Counties. These grants support short-term projects that align with focus areas such as Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. Ideal for innovative pilots and collaborations, the grants aim to create measurable community impact over a 12-month term, fostering a spirit of collaboration and community improvement.

Community Grants
United Way of Forsyth County invests in strong nonprofits because strong nonprofits build strong communities. Each year, we distribute funds raised through our annual campaign to local organizations whose programs align with our focus areas: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.
Funding Tiers:

• Tier 1: Community Impact Grants; Tier 2: Capacity Building Grants

Eligibility

Applicants must:Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or operate under a fiscal agentServe residents of Forsyth and/or Dawson CountyDemonstrate alignment with at least one UW impact areaHave the ability to track and report on project outcomesNot use funds for political/lobbying purposes, construction, debt reduction, or general fundraising events
