Provider: Community Legal Aid (CLA) in partnership with Central West Justice Center, using trained volunteers including lawyers and law students to file claims for people unable to manage the process independently.

Option 1: Apply Online
1. File your unemployment insurance claim online at the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance website
Option 2: Request CLA Assistance
1. Call CLA at 855-CLA-LEGAL (855-252-5342) if you:
- Do not have access to a computer
- Do not read English
- Need help with the online claim process
2. Provide contact information - Someone from CLA will contact you
3. Receive assistance - CLA staff or trained volunteers will help file your claim
- The online claim form is only available in English
- The online form does not work well with smartphones or tablets
- Services are completely free
