UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy
Funder: Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® (KCRAR) in partnership with Henry W. Bloch School of Management at University of Missouri-Kansas City
Program Type: Educational leadership program (not a grant, but a tuition-based program)
Geographic Scope: Kansas City area and surrounding regions
- University-level curriculum developed to support real estate professionals committed to advancing careers through education and civic engagement
- Participants explore critical individual and organizational leadership topics through three core themes: - Industry Context - Regional Leadership - Practice Management
- Team-based assignments throughout the course
- Field assignments and interaction with industry experts
- Graduates earn Alumni status at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management
- Over 70 REALTOR® Leaders have graduated since inception
Program Details
- Typically meets monthly or twice monthly on Wednesdays
- Duration: 7-10 months depending on year
- Virtual or in-person options (hybrid/virtual format available)
- Opening and concluding sessions at UMKC
- Some regional travel may be required for project assignments
